am 27 years old qualified secretary and a Social
Psychology student. I began my work for the "Internet for Schools" Program two years ago. Since that time, I have become part of an Internet community where my skills in English and Russian serve me well. During that time I got through few very important Internet events taking my basic education in this field. I still can remember my very enthusiastic involvement, firstly in municipal then in teacher training, in many other events held by IdS in the frames of I*EARN and ThinkQuest programs, and lately in the 22nd CERN School Edition held in Poland. My on-line work with international teams, as well as in real life, gives me much joy, as it was always my dream. This year I attended the on-line course given by Central and Eastern European Networking Association and a combined team of Swedish, Finnish and Estonian lecturers. During the first two-month studying I experienced that get together atmosphere with other students from 26 European countries and then I met them face-to-face during the second stage of the course, in Budapest. To popularise the Distance Learning courses on any content I gave few speeches in Poland in the frames of educational events gathering citizens of Internet. Apart from my professional activities I invite many of my friends to face Internet and make them acknowledge with this world wide tool. I show them that although our life is every day more and more Internet dependant they shouldn't put it away, but just benefit from its wide open possibilities. |
